Issue/Question:

Cannot assign strings to inverter or combiner when trying to do auto-assign in DC Electrical.  The following message appears: ERROR IN ASSIGNING STRINGS.  REASON: INVALID_INPUT: {:START_TOP_RIGHT=>"INVALID PARAM TYPE"}

Cause:

A known bug in SunDAT.  We are aware and addressing the bug.

Workaround:

  1. In the DC Electrical hierarchy, look for Auto-Assign Start toggle.
  2. Change the toggle from Bottom-Left to Top-Right
  3. You should now be able to assign strings to the hierarchy by selecting the strings and then assigning to either inverter or combiner.
