When I export my SketchUp model to CAD DWG file format, there is a lot of objects in the file that I do not need like the location snapshot and text. It is causing the file size to be large and slow to work in. Is there a way not to export those types of objects and keep the file size down?
When directly exporting from SketchUp in File->3D Model, make sure to select the Options... button which is next to the Export button. Under export, make sure everything is unchecked and the only thing is the Edges. Press OK and then Export. Now your DWG file will only have the edges from your SketchUp model.
